West Coast Chess Alliance 2nd Friday Chess Night August
Chess Swag Tournament: "Turn in your player's card and win chess swag"
During chess night in August, the West Coast Chess Alliance introduced the exciting Chess Swag Tournament. This unique tournament format involves players receiving a player's card and participating in 2 to 6 or more matches. Regardless of the outcome, players are rewarded with chess-themed merchandise based on the number of matches they complete. When you turn in your player's card, you receive the swag. Here is a breakdown of the rewards based on the number of matches played: 2 matches: Win a pencil 3 matches: Win a wristband 4 matches: Win a small pendant 5 matches: Win a large pendant, 6 matches or more: Win a prestigious chess medal This innovative tournament not only provides an opportunity for players to showcase their skills but also ensures that everyone goes home with a tangible reminder of their participation in the event. It adds an element of fun and excitement to the chess night, making it a memorable experience for all participants.
